The Kidde KF30 is a 240V Heat Detector from the Kidde Firex range. These detectors are mains powered and inter-connectable making them suitable for residential and light commercial environments.
KF30 offers 70% reduced energy consumption in comparison to its predecessor the KF3, offering lower lifetime running costs.
The hard-wired units come with an alkaline backup battery and can be interconnected with other units from the series to create all-around fire protection within the home, when one alarm senses a fire, all units will sound.

** The Kidde KF Firex range has superseded the Firex 4000 series, the Kidde 9HI and 9HILLS can be interconnected with the KF range.
The KF range cannot be used on the same base plates as the Firex 4000 and different connector blocks will be required **
