The Kidde Slick 3SFWR 230V mains fit heat alarm has a 10-year guarantee with an integrated rechargeable lithium backup battery. The backup battery will work up to 6 months in the event of a mains failure.
The 3SFWR, when used with an RF-SFTP base, can be wireless and inter-linkable with up to 15 other Firex and Slick devices.
These units can also be inter-linkable with up to 24 Kidde hard-wired alarms using ‘Smart Interconnect’ technology
Its fast push-fit base makes it easy to install for all users as it has an integral, double-decker screwless terminal block for quick, push-fit installation.
The heat alarm indicates when it has a 30-day low battery and also a visible alarm system that shows either red or green LED’s.
Heat alarms are for use in humid/dusty areas where normal smoke alarms would not be acceptable, in unconverted attics, boiler rooms, and kitchens. The 3SFWR heat alarm is triggered when the temperature reaches 57°C and must always be interconnected with smoke alarms from the same range.
